SS Series Series Metal Hose

SS Series Stainless Steel Metal Hose
View Specifications

Full Vacuum
Temperature: Cryogenic to 1500F

Construction:  B&A Flex's corrugated hose is manufactured from tubing formed into corrugations of various contours.  Due to its continuous metal construction, corrugated hose is leak proof and can withstand high pressure.

Pressure:  When subjected to internal pressure a corrugated hose tends to elongate.  An external  Stainless Steel Braid is used to prevent axial elongation.  The braid is designed to provide the required pressure capacity of the hose.

Flexing:  Flexibility is the result of bending the corrugations. The bending characteristics are determined by metal thickness, height and spacing of the corrugations.  These factors are taken into consideration in establishing minimum bending radii as shown in the specification table.

Material: Standard corrugated hose is manufactured from either 321 or 316 Stainless Steel.

Applications: Corrugated hose is a general utility hose most suitable for conveying all types of searching gases and liquids.  It is   designed for continuous flexing and widely used to absorb vibration.
